saw adaptive xenons in action
As I was nearing my house I got the distinct sensation the headlamps were responding to the steering wheel input, more so to the right. When I was in the driveway I turned the wheels all the way to the right--sure enough, the lamps had swiveled to the right...it was quite obvious, and I could even peer into the headlamp unit. Did the same to the left, and it wasn't as obvious, but the lamps had swiveled slightly to the left. I'm not sold on them yet, it's cool nonetheless. Problem is when I drive my other car now, it's as if I have no headlights they're so dim in comparison.

i have adaptive headlights and I love 'em. The difference is really is noticeable when I drive my wife's car which doesn't have adaptive headlights.

are u sure the lamp swiveled? Think again... its the inner projector light up...and act as adapter head light.
Park you car.. turn on ur head light.. take a look at the head light first.. then turn wheel over 15 degree.. you willl see that the inner projector light up... the light the path of the direction you are turning...

Tonight is quite foggy (not enough, though to warrant using the rear fog light, i.e., visibility greater than 100 feet) and the adaptive headlight action was quite pronounced. Due to the layout of the road I was on, though, I couldn't really tell whether it moves more to the left or right. If there is a difference I would expect mine would move more to the left. But seeing those beams swinging was cool.
