Looking for a great drive in SoCal

I am coming to LA and Santa Barbara in early august and looking for some great roads to drive. I will be driving from LA to SB for the weekend and then back to LA to spend a few more days. Figured I would find more than a few good ideas here...

Thanks in advance! DG.

Glendora Mountain Road, known as GMR is a great scenic drive during the day. If you wanted to go more down South, Ortega Highway is also a amazing place.

+1 lateralg.com will give you a great idea of where to go.

From least to most difficult that i'd recommend.

Stunt rd
Las virgines
piuma rd
Tuna canyon

Mullholland hw is a pretty good drive if you go towards the snake road. Have fun & stay safe.

Hwy 23/Decker Canyon that runs between Thousand Oaks and Malibu is fantastic. You should definitely hit it up when you are driving from LA to SB.

Heard about Decker from someone else. They called it "world class" so it is for sure on my list. Thx. DG.

Also, if you have time try latigo canyon, ohhh and i don't suggest you taking any passengers for this runs, they might get little carsick after 1-2 canyons.
