Montego Blue: Same Color On Coupe And Sedan?

Hello all, this is my very first post on this forum!!! I am excited to start interacting with the BMW community.
I have been active on the Infiniti G35driver site for the last 2 years and have enjoyed my time there. I have also enjoyed my G35 for almost 2 years now, but I am getting very excited to order my next car, which will be the BMW 335i coupe.

My question to you informed people is about the Montego Blue color. Is this color the same on the coupe as on the sedan? I just saw the sedan in Montego at a dealership yesterday and it looks far more stunning, richer, and deeper in person than in any photograph I have seen.

Thanks for your answers and I look forward to being a part of this community.

Nick

Same color, and although I have the sedan, I think Montego suits the coupe even better.

You're correct, montego looks amazing in person and the pictures just dont do it justice. I think others have mentioned this, but the coupe does seem to look better in montego than the sedan.

I dont know if its just the flash on a photocamera or what because in person and on video, its a deeper blue, but on photo's it looks lighter and faded.

I would like to see the Montego blue and Le Mans blue together in the same lighting to see the differrence in the two colors.

IMHO, pictures don't pick up the metallic paint, which changes the actual look from what looks like crayola blue in many pics to a vibrant and rich blue in person.

But i'm biased

I like LeMans better because it has a depper look to it than the montego.

I think it's the reverse, with Montego being slightly deeper and a touch more purple to it than Le Mans.
