What material is the 2007 BMW 335i coupe made of?

Hey guys, i would like to know what material is the car made of(hood, doors, fender, bumpers etc)? recently a buyer interested in my car brought my car to a mechanic, and said that my car actually had an accident before on the fenders (part 41357168988 although car fax is clean.), he proved it by sticking magnets all over my car. the magnets sticked to the door, hoods etc, except the fender! he told me that BMWs use the same material in all their body works, is that true? if so, it means that my car actually had accident before? by the way, i changed only my front and rear bumper, so don't count it in.

Thanks!!!

yes sir that is correct, its made out of a special material that absorbs heat and transfers it out, read it on some post here but yeah all e92 fenders are non-metal

I don't know if this is an official BMW test vid, but I hope this somehow proves that they're supposed to be plastic...

The front fenders are plastic to reduce weight at the front to try and keep weight distribution as close to 50/50 as possible.
