Some examples of "wide running" tires ?

Hi,

I read that even for the same width rating, the true width of the tires differs among brands. Which are the widest running tires from your experience ? For example I read that a Hankook Ventus V12 is significantly wider than a Toyo T1R for the same width rating ?

I think the Michelin PS2 are wide.

Dunlop Sport Z1 Star Spec tires run very wide.

Most "Extreme Performance Summer Tires" from Tirerack run wide, but i've never seen a tire run as wide as Advan AD08's

Heres a picture of my 255/35/18 Dunlop Z1 Star Spec, mounted and inflated, next to my 255/35/18 AD08. Star Specs are already considered pretty wide and square as Gary said, but the AD08 is considerably wider. Its about as wide as my 265 t1r.
