From The Worlds Fastest B6 A4 to a new BMW 335I
Whats up guys?
Just wanted to introduce myself. I just purchased a new 2007 BMW 335I 6 speed Manual 4 door... and heard this was a good forum to post on. I am a huge Audi guy and have owned them for as long as I can remember. Some of you BMW guys I might know or maybe have heard of my car.... i have a 2004 Audi A4 Avant (wagon) that currently holds the world record for the fastest 2002-2005.5 Audi A4. I went 12.63@108.70 at fontana speedway in it. However I wanted to try something new. I have some BMW freinds that we always go back and forth with audi vs bmw. I have done a lot of research on the new 335I so I decided to get one. It will be here on the 26th of this month. 2007 BMW 335I 4door 6 speed manual. Jet Black with Black Dakota Leather Brushed Aluminum Trim Cold Weather Package Premium Package Sport Package Comfort Access Navigation Voice Activation Satelitte radio Bluetooth active steering Basicly I wanted to get it fullly loaded. They said it was going to be a while before the car would arrive but they found one on a ship that was on its way to UTAH...it just happen to have everything I wanted. As of now I have 3 car but selling the wagon. I also have a 2007 A4 2.0turbo 6 speed quattro. Looking forward to see what I can do with the 335 and see what results we can get out of it.... -Charlie Here are some pics of the current cars. Here is the 12 sec Family Wagon... might have seen these pics in august issue of Eurotuner And here is our other car 06 A4 |

Welcome!!! Those are some nice looking and very impressive Audi's! btw - it sounds like you're a tuner guy, so for your new BMW 335i, you're defintely going to want the Vishnu Tuning XEDE piggyback computer (only $1,300) to throw on your car. It will add approx. 50-60WHP / 80-95 TQ to the wheels!!!! It will turn your 335i into an unbelievable monster!! Check out these threads...

Charlie - no bmw skate snow??? Welcome!
I also changed my name (CD-Dubs), I lived on AudiZine for the last 2 years, but I, like you, went the way of the 335. I still have my A4 but will finalize my 335 order after Jan. 1 I hope you find the respect and camaraderie you did on AZ. This site has tons of great info. Check out some of the dynos on here, in stock form the 335 is putting 265-275 hp at the wheels, and with Xede and exhaust people are seeing 330-340 hp at the wheels! Chalk up another audizine to e90post conversion, you won't be disappointed with the 335! |

Congrats man!!
My family is big on Audi's too..93 90 Quattro, 95 S6, 01 S4, 03 RS6. My dad is thinking about turning his RS6 in (60k miles) and I'm going to see if he wants to look at a 335XI. I will be getting my 335 in a few weeks. Enjoy! |

im a fellow Audi Convert
1999.5 A4 (2.8 then 2.8t) 2001 Jetta VR6 (then 03 hemi ram with ~420hp) now a 2006 A4 2.0t being replaced by the 335i i have on order. also in the vag world, i help establish DVAG (audi club) in the eastcoast, which i still moderate. the 335i is just toooooo tempting. Im also from a Vag family (mom has a Q7 dad has a A8). total of 10 vags in the extended family. welcome, ur gonna like this forum mang. now make the worlds fastest 335i :rocks: :rocks:
