Sunroof pinch warning
Anyone get this before? I have the sunroom warning message. I can still raise and push the sunroof back about 1/3 of the way. Its weird. When I hot the button to close the roof, it will actually tilt it.
Anyone know the reinitialization process on BMWs? I did a battery reset, and it came right back... Thanks |

Yeah, news to me too. I'd have a chat with my dealer to make sure I knew why it happened and how to prevent it fron happening again.

it just lost initialization. Don't sweat it. We won't do anything about it anyway, 9/10 of the time... unless there's a specific fault stored, for some wierd reason, we won't have any evidence of what we should fix. if it happens AGAIN, don't fix it, and take it in, saying it's happened before.

yah my parents had this happen, they took it to the dealer and they just did the re-init and said that's all you need to do, whats kinda stupid in the manual with all the error lights, it says take to dealer for service.

I would also like to add my thanks for this resource. You did save me a trip to the dealer. Sorry to bump such an old thread, but it really did work for me.
I didn't even know you could "push" the tilt button. All this time I have been sliding the button forward or backward. |
