If its salvage, there is no way an insurance company totaled a $55k car for 3 or 4k in repairs and no frame damage

i'm not sure why they total out the car, by the look of the car and my experience on working on these car, i did a guess it will be about 3k to reapair. i could be wrong but it won't be too much off. the reason why it is missing the bumper covers and side skirts is because the body shop took it off for the inspection and never gave the parts when they totaled it out.

from what it look like, the car jump a curb and probably fish tail the rear into something. if anyone here that want to buy the car, i can help source the parts and repair the car. the car is in driveable condition now.

It looks like closer to $10K work than $3K. But that's still not enough to total that car out. Can you find out more details? Maybe it was a theft recovery?

Also, it looks like it needs more than 1 wheel and 4 tires. Also, grill is busted up and that's a dent on the trunk lid, right?

like i said before, its around 3k but nothing close to 10k to repair. people can bitch the insurance company to total it out. who knows what the deal was with the previous owner and the insurance company. the car start right up.

i dont have any more info on the car. the wheels is not a big issue since someone would probably want different wheels anyways. theres no dent on the trunk, just a damage left tail light. what grills?
