Hi ,

A warning light with a double SS comes up and Ive heard that is a MOT service. Can you confirm this ? and how to reset it after MOT test by a non BMW dealer ?

You'll need to check your owner's manual for the MOT information. It is quite likely that the MOT is to be done in conjunction with a service, so the garage doing the service would reset the indicator.
