335i paddle steering wheel --> 335i w/o paddles - new harness?

Can anyone confirm what is involved in adding the paddle wheel to a 335i sport/step that wasn't built with it? I've heard that there is another harness, was hoping it would be a new wheel part and that might be it. Any insight would be great. I've searched and read but mostly it's people guessing about retrofitting to cars w/different transmission, not another 335i w/ the ZF gearbox.

Thanks!
