E90 factory suspension tune causes excessive wear on non-RFT??
I switched to a set of Bridgestone Potenza Grid last year after reading positive review of it on tirerack (tested on a 328i). But after 9000 miles, I've been hearing loud noise when running.
Dealer checked and told me ALL 4 tires has feathered on both inside and outside, and suggest that I replace them all. I have been maintaining the tire pressure and since all 4 are equally worn, I don't know if this will be due to an alignment issue? Or is it just that the factory suspention is tuned for the stiffer RFT? The car has X-drive. |
