did anybody else notice this??

so i was just surfing bmwusa.com today and just looked through the new models.
i went to 335xi build-ur-own and look what i find today.

cold weather package: $1000
- heated front seats
- split fold-down-rear seat

now if we go to options, we can purchase individually for less!!
- heated front seats: $500
- split fold-down-rear seat: $475

aren't packages supposed to be cheaper?
are we getting ripped off on other packages as well?
what are your thoughts?

An extra $25 to be able to tell your buddies you have the "cold weather package" because it sounds cooler than "split fold rear seats and heated front seats"?

knowing BMW they might of took it off for cost cutting, or they are just being BMW and not telling us what comes with it and we always figure it out

Read the Sales Brochure which you can get online and see what is standard and what is included in package.

That might tell you the story

If BMW keeps this backwards trait going i wont own many more. Companies are supposed to improve their product, not the other way around.

so cold weather package combined with m sports package is $1000 with split fold-down-rear seats & heated front seats.
if not combined, cold weather package adds retractable headlight washers but the package is now $1150.
heated steering wheel is still $190
the funny thing is 335xi has retractable headlight washers as a standard...
you can all go check out at:

bmwusa.com -> build your own -> 335xi sedan -> standard features and look for "retractable" and it should be the first one that pops up.

The heated steering wheel is a no cost option if you choose "cold weather" package, $190 without it. Check your build. When you add hsw along with cwp it shows as $0.
