Hey everyone, I don't own the 328i but I get to drive my dads alot! He loves the way BMW's drive (and I do too!) and his first was a 2000 740i sport when I was about 10 or so. Then in late 05 we did the performance delivery of a 2006 black M5 with red interior and that car was a monster!! His lease went up on it and at the time gas had been murderous so he decided not to buy it. Dropping that off at the local dealership wasn't easy. A year later he got the 2009 328i cabrio and while it's no M5, it's still a fun car.

For father's day I ordered him a matte black grill set and some gloss black shadow emblems. He's gone on vacation now and gets back sunday so hopefully he is pleasantly surprised to see the changes I did to the beamer! I decided to wait on the shadow emblems so he can help make sure we don't mess up the paint or anything.

But here's some pictures of the car and the grill change process! I'm pretty proud of myself, it's the first real car mod I have ever done. My fingers are pretty sore though!

I want to get some painted side markers at some point in the future and would love to get some Advan RS wheels! But the new wheels probably won't be happening anytime soon haha

Like I was corrected when I first joined, its Bimmer not Beamer. "Bimmer" = car and "Beamer" = motocycle. Just FYI

I'll have to tell my dad about the bimmer vs beamer. We use them interchangeably.. I founda DIY on the 1 series page about the shadow emblem install so I might try to do those tomorrow. Seems easy enough.

It went great, used moms hair dryer to get the silver ones off. I love the way it looks now.

I snapped some pics of the process again.
