color combo check!

Just wanted to get some feedback before I pull the trigger on a color. Unfortunately, as these are new colors for 2011, I could not find much pics. Here is what I am looking at:

e93 - cabrio

Alpine White / Oyster

Vermillion Red / Oyster

Blue Water Metallic / Oyster

The Oyster is a very light color, but its two tone - with everything black except the seats that are oyster.

thanks!

I personally find Alpine White boring, which is why I would say Blue Water.

simianspeedster (i think thats his name) has the oyster with blue water and it looks great. I think that's the best combo out of the ones you chose, however, I just came off a silver car so I chose red for your poll.

Thanks!! the poll is almost even! (bang head on table moticon) GF really wants me to get the Blue Water or Vermillion, but I am coming out of a black/black modded DINAN 335i...I thought the Blue Water is a bit too tame. But as I have never seen any of these in real life (local dealer only has the white).

I am trying to go for the sophisticated, aggressive yet posh look.

dude i persoanlly had a red g35 for 3 years and as beautiful as it was, it was just such a headturner especially with the cops. being that i had tints my whole neighborhood new it was me and i would always get pulled over for tints. its good that i was a Aux Police officer for my local pricinct and got out of eery tint ticket, but it was just a hassle... so no more red for me.
As far as the E93 goes i just pulled the trigger on AW/Saddle /Bamboo(currently due on week 28 which is mid July) in the begining of this month, and i was really close to getting oyster before the sales rep showed me her e93 with oyster after 3 months and the drivers seat especially seems kinda dirty, yet it still looked classy. my opinion the Black Saphire with oyster would look great!!!

I picked BW because its a nice color for an E93. Not as aggressive as an E92, so it doesn't need as aggressive a color.

Congrats on the e93 and the color dude!! AW with Saddle is amazing! Honestly that was my first color choice!! However, I went into a 5-er at the dealer that had Oyster...the back seats were dirty, the leather had some black marks on it. So yeah, it definitely is not a practical color. Needless to say, I decided that since I am leasing this car, I can afford to think "shorter term"

My ears are burning!

And now you know how I ended up with Blue Water on Oyster/Black. The 4 colors I considered were:
  • Deep Sea Blue Metallic (amazing in the right light)
  • Mohave Metallic (I'm a sucker for brownish metallic cars when done right -- have you seen a Cayman in Porsche's killer metallic brown? kick ass)
  • Alpine White (the best white around, IMO -- not too chalky, not rental car sterile and not overly creamy/dingy)
  • Blue Water Metallic (how can you go wrong?)

But once I decided on the M-Sport package, things got a lot more limited: silver, black, grey, white and, oddly IMO, blue water. After having a string of silver to metallic grey cars, I wanted some color, so Blue Water won out and I have no regrets: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=396781
