Does the 335is Coupe come with heated steering wheel?

I have one on order (my first BMW) but I just realized that I don't know the answer to this question. I couldn't find details on bmw.ca or any of the product documentation I have. For those who don't know, the cold weather package is standard here in Canada....as it should be...but I don't know if that includes a heated steering wheel.

Thanks in advance.

In the US, a Heated Steering wheel on the 3er is a $150 option aside from the Cold Weather package. If I had to make an educated guess, I would say it's NOT included. To be safe, i'd call the dealer and im sure they could quickly answer that for you. Absolutely beautiful color combo you picked, btw. Please post some pics when the beast comes in!

In the US, you have to add it. It does not come with the cold weather package.

It is not an 'option' here in Canada, so it is either standard or not available. Anyone have a 335is built for Canada that knows this answer?

Thanks.

My understanding is that any car with the M-Sport steering wheel (including the 335is) will not have the heated wheel (whether in Canada or in the US).

My E92 335is arrives next week... a heated wheel would be nice in Canada, but it is a no-go.

I have to agree with previous posters. Some literature I was given some time ago indicated that the 2010 M-Sport pack deletes the Heated Steering Wheel. However I haven't seen anything official that's recent, and specific to the 2011 335is.

A definitive answer from a 335is owner would be welcome.

tylerdude, I still find it funny that our cars were on the same boat and same train, you're in Calgary and I'm in T.O, but we'll likely take delivery the same week!

No heated steering wheel on is or any e9x with m-sport kit (ZMP), ZSP or no-sport can be had if you add cold-pckg or $190 option.

That's the way it is with BMW, I remember the old sport-seat couldn't be heated now it's available in all configuration; just wait eventually BMW comes to it's senses.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I finally found a way to 'view' but not download a 2011 E92 brochure from BMWUSA.com. Still can't find the brochure on BMW.ca. Anyway, as many of you mentioned, the Heated Steering Wheel is not available with the MSport Package and thus not available on the 335is. Oh well, still many thing to look forward to with my new car.

Coming from a newbie to both these forums, and BMW, it is nice to see so many helpful responses.

Thanks again.

Spoke too soon re: "official" info

Found attached in a folder on my desktop - it appears to be a Canadian product guide.

While it indicates that the heated wheel is standard on the 335is cab and coupe, I remain skeptical - for the reasons others have mentioned.

Would be a pleasant surprise, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

As to where this came from - beats me, I've amassed enough cr@p waiting for this car to arrive that I don't know what came from where anymore

The .pdf has errors. I saw the same .pdf pre-production and what I have witnessed in 335is post-production Canadian cars is different. Example:
  • the .pdf says the handbrake and shifter boot is alcantara, which in production IS vehicles are not
  • the .pdf says the door sills on the IS are marked "BMW", which in production IS vehicles are "M///"
  • the .pdf says the side window frames in the IS coupe are pearl grey chrome, which in production IS vehicles are high gloss shawow line
The proof of the heated wheel will be in the pudding.

Shitty... really would be such a great thing to add to the car. The one reason I did not get the M package on the 1er.

Ditto -

I even asked my CA if it was possible to add and he said "not through BMW".
