I know this is a bit off topic as it's not car related at all, but thought I'd ask you guys since you guys live here! My wife & I will be going on a vacation to the LA, San Diego area for a week around the 4th of July. I've only been out there once and it was only for 2 days, so I didn't get to see that much out there. We don't really have anything set in stone or even have hotel reserved at this point. We're flying into LAX then renting a car (WISHED I could have my 135i with me!). All that we do have planned is attending the Jay Leno show the last day of our trip. What's the sights that you guys suggest we take a look at? We would like to check out the obvious things like maybe the movie studios, dining, beaches, etc, but would like some pointers. We were also thinking of maybe checking out the San Diego Zoo as we've heard some good things about it. I would appreciate ANY ideas/pointers!

party like it's 1999 and have steak at mastros ocean club or cut. sushi at urasawa (super expensive, i'm sure someone will suggest something cheaper/better).

i havent had cut or urasawa but have only heard good things. it was usually friends not paying for the bill though...

Last year I took my girlfriend there and stayed at the Renaissance hotel. It was decently priced.

1st go to santa monica peer
venice beach
u can also try malls like
the grove outside mall very nice

and go to city walk lots of fun and clubs!
