Replaceable Seat Belts

Hey all,

Haven't posted in this section since being on e90post, but I thought I would run this question by all of you...

Have any of you replaced your seat belts?

I will be purchasing the BMW performance steering wheel (shown below), and was wondering if it would be possible to switch out the boring black seat belts to a bright yellow (to match the yellow strip on the steering wheel). I know GT3s have that and it is a nice touch and makes the interior relatively sporty. Please let me know. I will be heading to the dealership tomorrow to see if it is possible, but wanted to get some weekend thoughts. Thanks!

~Mike

I may be in the minority but I really like the idea of the yellow seatbelts. It is common on Porsches and even some E30 M3s had red seat belts. Unfortunately I have no idea where you would buy colored seat belts for an E90. Maybe have the stock ones dyed?

You might as well cut out your seatbelts and have a tailor sew new ones back on.

The opinion part wasn't really what I hoped to achieve by creating this thread. I was wondering if anyone had done it before...

And as for opinion. If some of the nicest porsche, race cars for that matter, have different colored seat belts, it doesn't seem like my 335i is any less worthy.
