BMW 330i vs Benz E350

I know they aren't really in the same class, but Benz is having some pretty good deals. Apparently my dad leased the new E350 for less than our BMW 330i (bunch of extras).

I don't know if his car is faster than the 330i, I would like to find out though. It's a wonderful car. Of course it's a lot different. It's more of a luxurious car as opposed to the BMW's sportiness.

Opinions?

I always dreamed of having a C-class. Had to be RED. It seemed to be the ultimate girly luxurious snob car and I had to have it. My dreams came crashing down when I finally drove one last year. I drove the C230 sport sedan and it was absolute CRAP-----CRAP CRAP CRAP...I'm sorry if anyone here had/has one, but I hated it. It has a lovely interior, exterior styling is eh, could be updated, but the killer was the manual tranny, it was more like a chore to shift that clumsy thing than a thrill like the BMW manual. You just don't buy a MB with a manual, period.

If you want a boring luxurious automatic tranny car, the MB is nice. For a fun, sporty, yet luxurious car-get a BMW.

MB is most comfortable, biger! It's car for your body and mind. Sorry(may be I wrong) but I thinck MB - it's car for FATs.
BMW-car for sold and hert. It's more biger then just a car for avery day. It's love.

The new 350 V6 engine with 272BHP is a blast in the SLK and C Class.

Dunno, but in the E 350 it slashes the 530i in terms of performance. imho.

the comparison is a bit unfair but the e class are for old people and bmw are for either young people or people young at heart

I had a C230 in 99 and it was a great car... the interior was fantastic....
the newer ones are ugly and garbage inside.

These cars are too different to compare. The E class is a very nice car and would be very comfortable. The 3 is obviously a driver's car, smaller, tighter, etc.
