Hello and Help

Hi all,

As of a month ago I am sat here waiting on news of a new arrival... Our new baby, a Black X1 sDrive 20D SE. The dealer says sometime next month so I'm hoping it arrives a little early.

(Pic's when it gets here, I promise)

As said it's a Jet Black X1 sDrive 20D SE
Beige leather
X Line pack
Alu Roof Rails
Detachable Tow Bar
Extended Storage
Comfort Pack
Cruise Control with Brake

So, this is just a quick hello to all and also, maybe a question or two. I don't know about anyone else, but I've found the dealerships fairly useless over this car - no-one seems to know much about it.

Has anyone found an online user manual for these things yet ? I could do with a look!

Also, can anyone tell me if you get the halo rings round the headlights if you haven't got Xenons - I know I had them on my E60 - but I haven't seen any night shots of a UK spec car with headlights on.

Does this have follow me home headlights?

How much - or what, do you need to specify for the garage to code things before delivery - 'the defaults' - which we have on the 318 - but you could mostly do yourself in the E60..??

Any answers or pointers appreciated

The "angel eye" halos are only present on the xenon headlamps. The non-xenon lamps have some sort of circular reflection for the lights, but it's a much poorer effect.

I think the follow-me home function is available in both though (at least in the Xenon I can confirm it's there.
