Difference in shifter?
Is there a difference beside the M logo between these 2 shifters?

Nope, those are just the shift knobs itself, its basically the same thing but the other one is the //M sport shifter and looks cooler. It might have a different feel to it but I'm not sure

Slight aside: I consider M-badged items on a non-M car...a bit poseur-ish.

cuz my car came with m stuff all over the place. agreed its not an m, my last car was an e46 m3 and this is a 335i e92 with the m-sport package and i have m stuff all over it.
