Car Accident
Guy behind the wheel of a new Lexus cuts 3 lanes of traffic and hits my rim and passenger side door and fender. I was already in on coming traffic when he hit me because I was trying to avoid him. My rim is done and I have a brake symbol in the car. My fender and door have a dent and a scratch. Police came and took down my info and his I had 2 people in the car with me.
Never been in an accident like this before what is my next step of action, I am picking up the police report tomorrow. p.s Pics to come. |

This kind of situation is where you (or, more correctly, the Lex-sucks driver) learns what the term "bitch-slap" really means.

As long as police report says its his fault give his insurance a call and tell them you'll be dropping the car off at MAC. Thats where they can go and sort it out.

The car driveable? If not I suggest you have it towed to the shop of your choice, and than call your insurance company. They'll be able to point you in the right direction as far as claims. If the person who hit you has good insurance file a claim through his. Once that insurance company gets a statement from there insured accepting liability plus the police report they will issue payment for the claim. Best of luck! PM me I know several good shops in your area.
