BMW Interiors
Ok so I remember a few posts back people comparing the Audi and BMW interiors and for the most part I agreed that Audi had superior interiors.
I have changed my mind. I went to the BMW dealer next to my house to check out the 335is. While I was there waiting for them to bring one out I sat in the new 5 series hatchback and OMG that was one sexy slick interior! None of that double hump bs just nice clean lines. Also had the Nappa leather which Audi also has and I did not quite like it in the Audi, but I must say it looked and felt amazing in that 5 series. I hope the new 3 series gets an interior upgrade like the 5 and 7 because I was very impressed. Last edited by dreamingat30fps; 05-09-2010 at 12:00 PM.. |

doesn't the IS have exactly the same interior as the normal 335? It must not have nav if it didn't have the double hump.
EDIT: Oh I get it, you sat in a 5 series GT. Forgive me, I didn't get enough sleep

Parna Zaroori hai. He said the interior of the 5gt while he went to check out the 335is. Yes, i agree. I love the new 5gt interior. So much better than even the 7 series. |

Yeah the 5 not the IS. I'm actually not a fan of the IS trim and gray gauge background honestly. I agree also the 5 interior was even better than the 7 and the seats were incredibly soft and comfortable. I can't wait for the new non hatch 5 to come out. Having never been a huge fan of the 5 (especially the last one) I may actually be considering it as my next vehicle.

You know what I think the new C class has the worst interior of them all! OMG! That thing was pure cheap plastic everywhere. I though I was getting into a Dodge Magnum. The older C class had a much nicer interior IMO.

Yeah the cupholders really are full of fail. But their newer models seem to be promising.
You know what I CANNOT understand? How people think the Cayenne's interior is better than the X5. Where in hell do these people get their taste from? If you ask me that thing makes me want to vomit. using the E9X as my example, the buttons are all very nice to touch, remain firm and responsive after many miles, the quality of plastics and finish are ideal and resistant to heavy use. The consoles remain sturdy, steering wheel wear is excellent, its all up to par. The only issue is the protective plastics peel on the door panels for the window buttons. but that goes on in every other automakers cars as well. Audi has that problem the worst IMHO.

Some people like that grave-yard feel while being in their car.... I dont get it.

Haha thanks! That looks awesome, I love BMW interiors, they are simple yet stylish and well made IMHO. Also, everything seems solid on the inside. Only thing I have heard thats not solid is peeling problems, but that hasn't happened to me yet (knock on wood). One thing I like about BMW is they always stick to the same basic principles on every different model but just make it better
