Thumbs up Yes...the Sport Seats (and steering wheel) are worth it!!!

Okay, I just drove a 2010 E90 xdrive that was not equipped with the Sports Package as a loaner for 3 days. I can say that after having been used to the seats (and steering wheel) that come with the ZSP in my E90, the difference was very noticeable. The regular seats felt like sitting on a church pew compared to the sport seats. I highly recommend that anyone contemplating whether or not to add the ZSP to an upcoming purchase do it without hesitation!

BTW, I had my rig at dealer for its 15k service...and to have a Dinan Stage 2 tune installed...

I had a similar experience. When my tranny blew I had an auto premium non sport loaner and I hated it! The seats were very uncomfortable and it was just slow.

While I do like the sports seats for the thigh support, I can understand if some don't want it because it is too firm. But I definitely like the thicker grip of the Sports steering wheel.

Hmm...I actually thought the non-sport seats were firmer... They were just short, non-conforming and uncomfortable. And I really didn't care for the xdrive either, although I know it has a lot of fans out there. I'm very glad to have my baby back!

I actually initially ordered my e90 without the sports package. Waited 6 weeks for it to be built, and when I went to take delivery, I was extremely disappointed and didn't take the car. I held out for 2 more weeks and found the options/color I wanted with the ZSP. I couldn't be happier. Especially with the 17" rims compared to the stock 16's.

My back hurt from sitting in the non sport seats (LCI) they were too firm and completely unsupportive.

I'd think anyone on an enthusiast forum like this would get the sport package without thinking twice. Paying the premium to get a BMW over an Infiniti (or instead of a Lexus, Merc or Audi) is all about its sportiness - getting a BMW without the sport package is like marrying Kiera Knightly but making her wear a puffy winter coat and snowpants in bed at night...
