M sport package only in AW?
So i have been building some bmws on bmwusa.com and everytime i choose the M sport pachage it changes the color of the car to white no matter what color i had chosen? Do they only come in white it wouldnt make sence if it did. is that just a glitch with the site?

not every color is available in M-sport. so if you originally selected a color and its not available, when you select the M-sport package, itll automatically change to one that is, just so happens to be in AW. just go back and change it

The builder on BMW's website allows Space Gray, Titanium Silver, Le Mans Blue, Black Sapphire, Blue Water, Alpine White. Looks like they want to force you onto metallic paint to charge you another $550, except for AW which is a classic/signature BMW color.

^ correct but thats not Msport, its completely different and for almost M3 pricing the should probably even offer more colors for the car than they do.

i'm having a tough time understanding this also...i went and placed an order for a crimson red e92 with m sport...even spoke to the salesman about the availability of the package b/c when i built the car on their site it didn't allow crimson red with m sport...and the sales guy said i can have the package with crimson so we placed the order and signed all the papers...then the same day he calls me back saying they can't build it the way we configured it...
so now my option is to get the crimson red w/o the package or get my next color choice which is the alpine white with the m sport...what to do???? also, i mainly want the m sport for the aero kit b/c the front on the e92 is so bland and ugly imo...he said that they can install the kit for 3K, which is the total cost of the whole m sport package...what would you guys do? sorry for the long post i'm just mad that these people don't fully know the cars they're selling |
