Bad Driver Cause Wreck What would you do?

I was sitting in the parking lot and i see this asian kid backing up slowly and carefully. Then i see a Dodge Ram take a sharp turn and he is flooring it hits the front left fender and bumper of the car and almost hits a parked chevy. Kid gets out of the truck and is cussing at the asian kid and i know this asian kid who is pretty big hes trying to say calm and not hit him. But the other kid still keeps getting in his face and is like give me your insurance papers I was heading over there to break it up but luckily the school cop arrived before this kid got the shit kicked out of him. This got me thinking it was the kid in the trucks fault but he was trying to get the kid that had no fault what so ever to call his insurance. If it was a weaker kid or lets say somebody's wife or daughter they probably would of called there insurance. What would you have done in this situation? If it was me I wouldn't have punched him but definitely gottten him out of my face.

give the person not at fault your contact information and offer to be a witness. If violence seems imminent, call 911 and let the police handle it. Unless you are Bruce Lee...

In that situation you would need witnesses so it would be completely the trucks fault. With no witnesses the insurance company might try to negotiate a percentage of who is at fault

I would definitely have done that. I can't stand people who try to intimidate their way out of trouble. Similar thing happened to a female family member of mine. She was rear-ended and the guy who did it started yelling and became threatening, with no cell phone handy and being scared she took the blame and let him leave.

And seriously, in these times, you never know who's going to pull out a nine and start shooting at some slight provocation. I don't consider a tire iron being adequately armed. If you ARE adequately armed, then you will have already (I hope) made some decisions about what you will and won't do in these kinds of situations. If not, YOU shouldn't be armed, either.

911 is really the best solution, in either case. If you wind up having to defend yourself or others, it won't hurt to have the cops already on the way.

So did you end up becoming the witness? or did you just walk away? Chances are the parked car will be at fault unless you say something, but too late now if you didn't say you saw the whole thing.
