Low mileage E9x, claim yours!
i'm sad to report that my '08 E92 335 only has 7,800 miles on her, 2 years and 3 months after taking delivery. that's roughly 3,800 miles a year.
i almost feel like the $55k i spent on this work of art isn't really paying off for me. with my insurance at $2,400/year, registration at $500+/year plus my monthly payments, i keep asking myself why i'm not driving a civic or zipcar instead... anyone else with an ultra low-mileage bimmer out there?

You're lucky... My 96 Tahoe is costing 125 to register. It's totally ridiculous. I'd feel better about it if it started going more toward schools and not prisons...but I'm not in Sacramento so I have no say

To get this thread back on topic:
2008 E90. Currently has just over 13K miles. Bought the car used with just 3,520 miles. My full coverage insurance is $450 for 6 months and that's for Chicago (3rd largest city) |

I dont know I use mine as a daily driver and in 1 week I will have had my 206 325xi for one year and got her with 49,500 miles and as of this morning has 55,600 (rough estimates) but thats a years worth of driving about 40 mins a day for round trip to work and back.
So 6,100 miles or so a year for me.

25k on the clock bought 1 year ago with 5200 on the odometer . I sorta envy the low mileage guys BUT I enjoy every minute I'm in my car(which is quite a lot).

not a bmw but have a 2004 911 C4S sitting in a warehouse that gets started up about once every month or so... Less than 6k on the clock... have had to replace the battery 4 or 5 times, the car is basically brand new.

November 2007 build and 47XX miles -- I telecommute. (But the occasional trips to UPS and FedEx are a lot of fun!)

Picked up my 07' with 7k on the clock a year ago. At about 20k now and driving cross country in a couple weeks, again.
Fathers got an 85 911 with ~40k on the clock. |
