Coolant Change
Today I changed my coolant (not an easy thing to do on a 328 E90). So anyway I put in new coolant blah blah blah everything is great. Now I took my old coolant to pepboys (yea you would think they would take it) but no... ok so i try two other stores... same thing..... Now its illegal to poor this stuff out but I really have no other choice. Anyone Know who takes old coolant?? Anyone???

Make meth out of it
Jk, I heard in California its ok to throw it away in your Garden Disposal Waist (green trash can bin for us), but you have to wrap it around a plastic bag like about a thousand times.

Don't know about PA, but here in MD you can bring it to your local landfill. They have special containers for antifreeze/coolant just as they do for motor oil, cooking oil, etc.

Actually you can search store locator w/ zip code and their web list which stores take coolant (all take used oil but only a few take coolant for free). Last edited by HPIA4v2; 05-05-2010 at 12:24 AM.. |

Just pour it out, there are many of us running around catless so we are doing much more harm than you.
