Also as for the run flats, my rear tires are wearing really bad on the inside, is this normal?

answering your second post.....our cars are setup with negative camber, which by itself aint really a bad thing at all, just means from behind the top of the tire is tilted in towards the center causing it to ride slightly more on the inside edge of the tire. But if you have excessive toe you are gonna wear down that inside edge of your tire prematurely because it is scrubbing as it moves forward, instead of rolling perfectly straight.

another factor is the RFT's, if you were running them with a lower airpressure than recommended without knowing, you would wear down the inside edge early because of that negative camber and the stiff sidewalls supporting more of the cars weight. as you increase tire pressure you also cause the center portion of the tread to make better contact and get more even wear. past a certain pressure though you will wear down the center more than the edges.

As to wheel fitment: Very few 17" wheels fit over the 335i stock brakes as far as I know. You'd have to ensure that the rim clears your brakes

If they are 17s from a BMW, they should fit. But best to check with one of the TireRack guys on the wheels and tires forum. Gary from Tirerack has his e-mail on several posts.

Another idea is to check TireRack.com. They can probably rush-ship the tires from Reno in one day.

well i tried my buddies 16" wheels from his 2006 325i and they didn't clear the brakes, so I was hoping these 17" 's would.
