But I'm going to take a wild guess and try to answer your question. Would it be for performance/aesthetic reasons? If so, that's a good move. Just be aware of where you are/road conditions, etc., and you should be fine.

check out the suspension technical forum.
two main options, springs or coilovers springs are cheaper ($200-300), pretty easy to do yourself if you aren't chaning out the shocks or struts, they are non adjustable though but come in race or sport stiffnesses that have different lowering heights. coilovers are expensive ($1100 and up), a little more work on the rear, they are adjustable for different ride heights and softness. if you are going to do springs, most say replace the shocks also because the stock shocks won't last long on a lowered vehicle and you improve the ride quality with aftermarket shocks, so that adds another $700+ there are also cupkits that feature matched springs and shocks |

What kind of rims do you have now? If you get 20's and a drop, you will almost certainly rub. Don't do it.
I know you live in Miami, but let's be reasonable here

Lowering from what ?
Starting from a sport suspension, regular suspension ? If your base is sport suspension, maybe spring won't be enough for your taste. Also, by knowing the reason (aestetics, tracking, etc.) should help. Finally... I had to be the one to write it ... sorry !

I wouldn't even upgrade to 19's where I live. Downtown Atlanta would be a beeyatch lol. It's your ride so do what you want, but don't go overboard.

Welcome to the forum. In my opinion, 19's are perfect. 20's are alittle too large. Especially if your going to drop it. I have 19's one mine and dropped 1.75" which fits the wheel well just right.
