It's kind of hard to tell if the one you found has the rostrum, but the body shape looks about right.

Can everyone stop overreacting and killing every bug they see...

Its the over abundance of pesticides etc in the environment that is killing off bugs - which are anm important part of the food chain.

Scientists have been finding that the honey bees are dying in massive numbers.... very soon you can say goodbye to all fruits that need honey bees to pollinate them (and honey too).

I used to have two active bee hives at my old house. They're fascinating creatures to raise. And yes, they are declining dramatically.
