Bridgestone Turanza's

Just bought a set of 230's, and put them on today. They came with Bridgestone Potenza's and am absolutely shocked at how much smoother the car rides and feels with these wheels. I always assumed it was the nature of the car, but now relaize how absolutely shitty the Turanza's are.

Turanza is one of the worst tires out there...why BMW puts these on their cars is beyond me

Agreed the grip was crap, but the biggest difference I'm feeling is now the car rides much smoother. The Turanza's made they car ride stiff, now it's much more of a refined feel. It's similiar to how my E46 sport rode with the factory PS2's, which I really liked. I wish Michelin made a PS2 RFT in 19". It seems like BMW is going away from the Bridgestones now. I know some of the M sports are shipping with Michelins, and a guy I work with got a new E93 that came with Continetals

Keep in mind that the name Turanza does not refer to a specific tire, but rather is the family name for Bridgestones 20+ different touring tires. Same for Potenza, which is a family name for all of Bridgestones performance tires. There are very good and sub par tires in each line.
