Help with Tyre sizes please!

Hi all
Got a new set of rims.

8.5j. 19" and 9.5j 19". they are going on my 335i.

I was talking to somone yesterday that told me i cant go for a 265/35/19 on the rear because it will mess up the rolling radius, and break bearings etc.

I did want to go for something with a bit more meat on it (currently have 20's with 25 profile!!) because the roads here are awful.

Advise please!

265 in the rear by itself will not mess up the rolling radius, there are tons of guys on here that are running that size in the rear. The important thing is making sure that the relative rolling radius between the front and back remains equal. For example, you could easily run 235/35/19 F and 265/30/19 R without any issues.

You generally shouldn't change the sidewall aspect ratio.

For the rear:
No: 265/35/19
Yes: 265/30/19

Use a 235/35/19 in the front.
