18x8 ET23 will fit?

Does anyone know if ET23 on 18x8 wheels all around will rub with 245/40/18 tires? This is for track setup.

With an offset as low as ET23 I wouldn't go wider than 225 in the front. But it also depends on the drop if that rubs.

that's what i'm afraid of...the tires are pretty thick tires being 245/40/18 but i used the wheel calculator and i've had 19x8.5 wheels mounted before with ET33 and they didn't rub with 235 tires, the clearance is about the same as with 18x8 ET23.

Anyone other inputs? anyone ever try such a low offset in the front?

With enough negative camber (you'll probably need camber plates), it is very possible.
