Question Experience of 265/35 rears on E92?

Guys,

I have just bought a set of 265/35 19 Continental rear tyres for my 335i Coupe which is what Alpina use on their B3.

Done a trial mounting (not driven it) and the tyres look perilously close to the fenders even at a standstill.

Wheels are Alufelgen SF71 19's with 35 offset.

Are they going to rub do you think ?

No they should not. I have the same rims on my E92 dropped about 1-1.5" in the rear and there is good clearance. There are people that are running 9.5 ET 32's with no issues even when lowered.

However..... Are would you say your tires are square or rounded? That can be a bit of a influence.

265/35 19 too tall

Most people run 265/30 19 in the rear with no problems at all. the 35 series is taller and may rub, along with changing the gearing and hurting your acceleration.

I run 19x9.5 with 33 offset and with that size tires with no problems.
