If you have an XI I would highly recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DWS. I have them on my 330xi and they are awesome. Wonderful on ice and snow and great in the wet and dry. They also are quite cheap.

How about GoodYear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tires? They're great tires.

What are you looking for in tires? Maximum grip, smoothness of ride, length of tire life? The BF Goodrich are awesome for grip, but their lifespan is relatively short, even just from regular driving situations like commuting.
FWIW, the A048's that were suggested have a short lifespan as well, most Lotus guys who are running them are ecstatic to get 5,000 miles on them, 3,000mi is common. |

What size wheels are you running, and what size tire do you desire? Sidewall profile will affect ride quality significantly, as well as wheel diameter (the both are in fact linked since upsizing your wheels generally requires you to run a lower profile...the net effect can be more significant than you anticipate)

Yokohama S-drive. I used to have the AVS ES100's on my car and I love them. The S-drives are the new model that replaced them, so I'm assuming they are just as good.
KDW2's are very good as well. |

Bridgeston RE050A offer lots of grip and people get a lot of mileage out of them, they are middle of the road priced and I'm sure they come in those sizes. I'd look into those.

The Goodyears come in those sizes, search on TireRack.
I am looking for tires of the same size for 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5 wheels. I have heard a lot of good things about the ExtremeContact DW. They are a little more than the hankooks and DWS, but are a summer tire made specifically for North America. Does anyone here have experience with the DW's? |

I just ordered a set of the Conti Extremecontact DW tires as I have winters as well. Been hearing really good things about this tire, should be here in a week! I loooked at the hankooks, f1's and I have generals (theyre ok) but felt for a Max summer tire I'd go for the Conti's plus they got really good wear rating.

Out of those I'd pick the V12's.
