Not a happy teddy!

Iv'e had 3 brand new BM's since 03. 318ci convertible, 325ci sport coupe, and my E91 320d goes next week . I bought all my BM's tax free in Germany from Park lane, my E91 cost me £23,650 and 11 months later BM Park lane offered me £20,500 even though i'd ordered an E92 for pick up next week (which iv'e cancelled) and the E91 would of set me back about £30,000 in the UK possibly? The cars i'm more than happy with, infact i don't think i'll ever drive anything again quite like them, but sales, customer loyalty and value for money are not what B mers are about. .. I'll always love BM's iv'e just bought an 89 plate coupe..

BMW love their customers....until it comes to trade in time. My 525d M Sport cost nigh on 30k but they only offered me 22k (15 months old) on a 335i coupe!

You know, FWIW I doubt you'd have done any better money-wise 15 months on with a new £30K car from any other manufacturer

Hi Mike

I guess you're right. Just imagine if I'd bought a Rover 75 V8!!! or Peugeot 607!!

What are you not happy about - I think thats a tiny drop in value for one year on a relatively high value new car.

I have to agree with the comment about BMW not being great come trade-in time. Were looking at trading in a '55' 525Msport and after only 9 months or so and were looking at a drop of £8k from our local dealer!

You can buy a new 525SE Auto saloon from motorpoint for over £8K less than list at the moment...maybe that has something to do with it?
