Question New Fella & Production Question

Hello, I'm new and I've been set on getting a e90 335i relatively soon. Quick rookie question(s): Does it matter if I purchase now, or in '07--If there are any minor glitches with the e90 335i now, are there different production dates where the problems would be fixed? Sorry for the amateur question, but thanks anyways.

Welcome to the forum

There are currently no future changes listed for the 335i.
The main slots for changes are usually March or September, but there arnt always changes.

There may be changes if not correction of "glitches". Look at the '06 325/330, there were the pre and post Sept '05 production groups. I have a 330i that was produced on 3/05 and it doesn't have a lot of the minor (but notable) changes in the post Sept '05 vehicles such as automatic doorlocks w/ driving or a sportier steering wheel with the hand knobs on the 10 and 2 o'clock positions. There are probably others I haven't mentioned.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing--I would be kinda fired up if I bought it and they made some changes a month later. Maybe I'm making a big deal of it...

I had one of the first e92 335is available in the U.S.

I have not experienced any issues of note since I picked up the car.

My only issue is that from time to time the serius radio loses signal.
