Just a quick question, is the eisenmann race a cat back system ? and is there an option for a full system with x pipe and cat bypass pipes, or do you have to mix and match with other brands for those ?

I had an Eisenmann Race exhaust fitted at AI tuning which is just outside London, i went via the CA automotive website.
The did a great job, and its sounds awesome! Now looking into having an x-pip fitted, just not sure what, cat less, single cat, brand, and the legalities of it? Any ideas? |

Providing you keep one set of cats, you should be able to pass an MOT emissions test. The only potential problem will be noise. In theory it is illegal to swap the exhaust out for one that makes more noise than standard, but he'd have to be a very unhappy copper to pull you up on that as nobody really cars, especially if you have a V8 M3! at the MOT they will just issue an advisory for the exhaust being loud, its not a fail like the emissions test is. Which your car will do if you remove all the cats. |

i'm slightly confused with eisenmann and the meisterschaft gt exhaust, i've been trying to research these 2 exhausts assuming these were 2 different brands, however i'm finding a lot of threads titled "eisenmann meisterschaft gt exhaust"...have i been misinformed? if so, does anyone know if there are there any dealers in the UK where i can find the Meisterschaft GT Exhaust? Thanks guys
