328i Coupe 2007 or 2008 Difference?

Looking to buy a used 328i Coupe. In my mind classically beautiful BMW. Any Difference in the 2007 or 2008 328i coupes in the united states? I don't mean just mechanically or cosmetically, but did the 2007's have any gremlins that they worked out by 2008?
1. Should I stay away from Idrive like the plague?
2. If buying a used one what are the reoccurring problems I should look out for?

as far as I know, there were no cosmetic differences other than shadowline trim with the sport package and the chrome exhaust tips available on 08+ models. the 08 sport package w/auto will also include paddle shifters. I personally don't think iDrive is bad at all, so I don't see why you would stay away from it. Sure, the 09 iDrive is better, but I was fine with the previous versions. As far as reoccuring problems, I can't come up with any. The 328i's are pretty reliable! Or at least, mine was. haha.

I have a 2007 with idrive and no issues whatsoever.

The idrive was updated with programmable buttons in march of 2007. I wish I would have waited for that.

I don't think that anyone can think of a difference.

1. No it's basically OK. Not that intuitive, slow, freezes occasionally but gets the job done.

2. Typical BMW shite -- light bulbs, suspension, transmission isn't as good as the ZF in the 335, lifter knock.

Wow you guys have been amazingly fast with your responses. I was on Bimmerfest and 50 people looked at the post and no one even bothered to respond. I thought that was pretty lame.
1. The reason I ask about IDrive is because my buddy has a E60 and his Idrive has some gremlins in it that the dealer can't figure out, so he just deals with it, but it does irritate the hell out of him since he spent a lont of money on that car.

6MT, Sport package with the 197's (18"). A little stiff but the handling is fantastic!

Do you mind if I ask you how much you paid. There seems to be a big spread in prices here in LA, and I can't make good sense of the reason just yet.
