"Bogging" or groaning noise under heavy throttle...

Ok, so when my AT hits 2nd or 3rd gear under heavy thottle, I'm getting a "bogging" down feeling in the rear end end. Kind of a groaning sound. It happens with the dct button on as well as off. I'm lowered on eibach prokit with a JB3 tune. Stock wheels. I have NO clue what this is. I don't think it's rubbing and I'm not sure if I'm losing speed when it happens for a split second. I don't feel the tires are slipping either because the engine doesn't seem to kill any throttle. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I do have the golf tee mod as well. I don't think it's the turbos as it seems to be coming from the rear drivers side of the car. It's a low pitch sound. Correct me if I'm wrong, but turbos make a high pitch sound.

sounds like you're getting the same sound as me.. I think that it might be the valve in the exhaust flapping around during shifts that makes this sound.

this is pure speculation though

and yes, its definitely not the turbo's

I was just wondering, because the exhaust range varies.

This may be, since only one of the pipe valves (pre-golf tee mod) emits exhaust force after starting, so perhaps it is an issue with the mod.

I might try to reverse that as well and see if it changes anything. Hopefully, that's all it is. Javier, keep me posted and I'll do the same.

I found this post when searching LSD'S. I think this is it. E-diff.... Anyone else getting this?

Sometimes when I would change lanes and floor it in 2nd gear (6AT) I would hear a groaning noise from the rear of the car.

Took me a while to correlate it to the e-diff pulsing the rear brake on one wheel to counter the wheelspin on the inside tire.

And that's with DTC completely off!

Makes sense that it would wear down the rear brakes and slow the car down in the process.

Personally I don't like it.
