N E Other recomended modifications?

I think I am almost done with the family bucket. Check my garage for what I already have.

The things still I want:

ZPP Rear view mirror
I was thinking of the BMS PB (Might be next)
E90 3-Series Performance Open Differential (unlikely for the $$$)
Performance Intake (Gotta save some cash$$)
Rear Sway Bar (unlikely for the $$$)
On the fence with the CF rear deck lid spoiler
On the fence w/ performance e-brake (probably now gonna happen)

The things I will not consider are the following:

3D lip,
CF Splitters
Any stereo mods
Window tints
Sunroof window deflector
Mud Flaps
CF Rear diffuser
Euro headlamps
Lighted door sills
Exhaust
Recaro racing bucket seats
Performance brakes (overkill, nuff said)

I am having a STRONG feeling about getting this...only thing is I have heard it go for as much as $250 or so...maybe cheaper and I think I'm in.

I'm torn (in price range) over that and the ZPP mirror...

KFC, I consider that on a regular basis, and I go for it, so I'm not sure that counts. Back on topic please.

Hello HRC: I see from your garage that you changed radio knobs - I assume to the one's with the chrome ring. Q: Do the old knobs just pull off? I'd like to upgradew mine as weel, and have tried to pull them off, but they're on pretty good. (I'd hate to break the knob. $$) What's you experiemce? Thanks...

Why wouldn't you want to tint your windows? It makes a big difference in a car..

Radio knobs just pull off. Mine came off pretty easy. You will not break anything by using your fingers to remove them.

Re $$$, New ones are $7.00.

I'm just tired of it. All my cars have had it and I just wanted a change. I have nothing against it, and I think a nicely smoked window job is sexy, but this time I went with sunshades and I'm happy with that.

Update on the new radio knobs?

Anyhow, been leaning towards the BMS Power Box. At the same time, it will take some major patience on my part to pay for it, will install myself (yea...).

Decided to get over my fear of modding the BMW engine/ecu. Car is out of warranty but that to me is also part of the problem. OVER it.

(praying)

Decided the auto-dim/compass rear view mirror (BTW w/cable cost close to the BMS PB) can take a back seat for a while.

Thoughts?

Danny,

I would only get the MOST system if you have idrive. I have it with idrive, but could imagine it to be rather hard to control your ipod without the idrive controller.

I have the performance intake. It is nice, and engine response is up some.

GREAT advice. I am happy with my ice age Ipod mini and it woks fine with the remote thru the aux plug anyways.

Crossing that off the list!
