Exhaust after engine start....
I noticed that with my e92, right after the engine start, the exhaust comes out of the right tip only. Then after about a min. or so, both tip has exhaust.
Is this normal with the e92 ?

i said the same exact thing when i first picked up my car this past November. I asked the tech and he said when the car warms up after the initial start a valve opens on the left side to allow full airflow. Who knew lol

Their is a valve in the left side of the muffler. After about a minute or so it opens
up and lets the exhaust flow through both sides. Their is a couple different ways to make it stay open at all times. 1. unlcip a wire in the trunk takes about 3 mins 2. golf tee mod take about 3 mins 3. new section 3 exhaust. search golf tee mod and you should find out how to do it

Yeah, its also to make the exhaust note quieter during start ups.
GTM induces a bit more of an "aggressive" exhaust note. Lots of youtube videos on this too, if you want to check them out
