FOB: Battery Replacement (Profile)?
Hi All,
I have an E90 with Comfort Access and therefore have the battery in the Key FOB that requires replacement from time to time. Today the indicator come on suggesting my battery is near spent. The question is, when changing the battery, do I lose my profile which is in the FOB? Regards Fritzables. |

It'll definitely re-establish itself.

I believe that the car can be started with no battery in the fob, when the fob is pushed into the dash. I took the 2032 cell out of my other fob to use on a pc motherboard. so when the fob I use had a battery go bad, I thought I experimented to see if it worked at all (i.e. car driveable with no battery in fob)....
