Can't believe they eliminated M sport for coupe and cabriolet (at least in Canada). I have a AW M Sport loaner now. Beautiful.

Guess they want people to upgrade to 335is for the kit...

What?! I would have had the msport in a heartbeat if they offered it on the 2010's

Same here
My 2011 is awaiting transport, still haven't technically bought it yet and I'm so tempted just to cancel it and order another a 2011 to get the m-sport.

The big question is if it will come with a manual transmission. You can always add body pieces cheaply later if you want. A whole different transmission system is another story.

Doubt it, as BMW would either have to import the 330d instead or have to source a new manual tranny as no current BMW manual can handle the low end torque.
And adding the body pieces, steering wheel, and anthracite headliner is not "cheap." Definately a LOT more than the $1600 price differential between M sport and regular sport package. For example, the m-sport steering wheel alone is about $700 or so shipped, and the headliner is over $800.

Great news, this should attract a few more diesel buyers.

The headliner alone is worth the price of the msport, imo. Especially considering that, as you mentioned, it is prohibitively expensive to retrofit.

I was actually really irritated that it wasn't an available option when ordering my last car, but I'm pretty sure I could have pushed the issue. AFAIK, there is no fundamental difference in body (aside from the urea tank cap) between the 335i and 335d.
