I am so sorry for your misfortunes, but that pic with your hand inside the inner fender is epic!

I am a lil confused as to how htis could happen!
Look at the good side, you shaved some weight for your race against Lost Marine!

The pothole caused a failure of Sheet metal nut, self-locking part(s) 07147154447 and Hex head screw with washer part(s) 07147129160, causing Cover, wheel housing, bottom left part 51717154415 to become free and rub on your tire. I suspect damage of other ancillary parts, but not primary suspension components.

Your "system check" involved what? How did you not hear this rubbing?

I love the pic with the hand inside the hole. It's a shame our taxes/fees we pay towards highways get put in the general fund.

Why is no one looking at the brighter side of this?

Hey at least now its super easy to change your foglight bulb .

LoL, but for real, glad there was no severe damage done. Like everyone else said, that could've been so much worse. Hope all is fixed soon.

looks like the bumper deformed and got shoved up into the wheel/tire upon impact, then popped back out. if his wheel moved that much, it definitely wouldn't be driving right now.

wouldn't hurt to get the alignment checked anyway tho.

I fed the part numbers numbers listed into RealOEM and think the post is correct. The hole shown in the photo had to be caused by rubbing.
