Quick Wheel+Tire Question.

Hey guys,

I want to run RFT All Seasons on the OEM 189 wheels. Do you guys know if a 245/40/18 tire on an 18inch wheel will fit on the front of the car?

the tires will be a little bigger than normal, which will cause a difference on your speedometer(1mph) difference. It's caused by the the increase of the overall diameter of the 245/40-18 tire.

Good luck finding all season RFT's in 18" diameter...there's a reason BMW doesn't offer them

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP makes a RFT All season in 245/40/18.

I contacted Tire Rack. Both Gary and Cooper discussed with me that there would be rubbing issues. Can anyone confirm this rubbing issue? I really wanna get some 189's =T

When are you looking to get the 189s? I've got some new wheels coming at the beginning of next month and may be open to selling my 189s. If you're interested (and get the rubbing question figured out) let me know.

well, I'm looking in the forums hahaha. Most people say that 245/40/18 will rub on the fronts of my e92 =T I prefer running only 1 set of tires and doing All-Season RFT's. =T

PM your price and wheel details. I'm looking for wheels that have no bending or curbing nor dents.
