2012 3-series and Current LCI models
What's up gents,
My lease is ending this month, and after trying to figure out what to do, so I decided to turn to the forum! Here are my questions: 1) I have a 2007 335i sedan lease ending in Feb, residual is around 28K. Can you bargain this price? How do you go about it? I would love to get it CPO'd with no additional cost etc. We have bought 5 or so cars from this dealer how do I assert my wishes? 2) When do the "new" body styles come out? When it says 2012 does that mean next year in March the new body styles will come out? I'm confused with the whole 1 year ahead thing. I though 06 was the first e90 year, so that would make 7 years in '13? 3) What exactly is an "LCI" I know about the M-sport packages and what not, but the dealer didn't really know what LCI stood for or what extras it had. Thanks a lot guys, long time member/lurker. James |

1) That price isn't set in stone, dealers can work with you on that as well as getting your car CPO'd. I believe it's in the $2,500 range to get your car CPO'd. You can also shop around with different dealerships, you don't have to go back to where you got the car.
2) People have speculated the new 3 debuting in late 2011 as a MY 2012, and others have speculated late 2012 as a MY 2013 (if BMW sticks with their 7 year model cycle). 3) LCI stands for Life Cycle Impulse. You get Msport as an option as well as new headlights (no more amber), new Idrive if you get nav, a slightly different hood, new taillights, 1 pc kidney grills (no more mustache) and new wheels. You lose logic7 as a standard feature, no more ashtray and power outlet below the radio.
