Introduction from Denver
Hi there ... Just figured I'd chime in and introduce myself. Just bought a 2008 328xi Montego Blue earlier this week. I'm excited. I'd say it's got almost all the options (Logic7, Xenon, Premium, Sport, etc). My prior car was a 2006 VW Jetta and while the Jetta was a great car for me at the time, I'm really loving the 328. I'm sure when I get the note for the 328 in the next week or two I might regret it (the Jetta was nearly paid off), but for now, I'm happy.
Lots of good info to be found out here so I'll keep looking and reading. I've got a bit of a lead foot, so hardwiring the 9500ix will be something I'm going to look at, or potentially get a 9500ci and have it hidden. Shane |

Welcome to the forum. Got a little bit of a lead foot huh? I have a lead foot also but I try and feather the accelerator. Congrats on the new car.

Welcome from a fellow local Shane. Did you get a coupe or sedan? Hopefully we run into each other sometime because I would really like to check your car.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
@smack: Yes, I do have a led foot and it's only really gotten me in trouble with the state in El Paso County on Highway 115, but that was a rental with CA plates. Having moved here now, I realize why I should have been more careful. The 9500ix has paid for itself several times, and I also think I've gotten lucky. I try not to do more than 10 over, and avoid more than 15 over. @Bimmer This: I got the sedan. The picture below was taken the day after I got it. After my drive out to Evergreen yesterday it's dirty. The window tint has also been applied since this picture was taken. I'll get new pics when there is a nice day. |

Sweet
Congrats & Welcome... I have the same ride as optioned below.
My brother lives near Castle Rock – there are great roads in the foothills to open her up! Enjoy – blacklines are a must as your first mod, then outfit the stock sport 159 17" rims with winters and pick up some nice 18" rims outfitted with summers:

Welcome. Another Denver BMW fan.
Nice car. Have you joined the Rocky Mountain BMW Club? They host lots of BMW stuff like the spring and fall drives. Lots of opportunities to meet other BMW fans in the area. |
