How your 3er Series was built - exclusive factory tour
Follow along on my tour of the BMW Werk München (BMW Munich Factory) with my own photos illustrating the process (since photography is normally Verboten, this is rare footage).
Click here for the full tour.

I always like factory tours, went to BMW one during ED, went to Boeing Everett factory tour when I visit Seattle.
Too bad the BMW South Carolina factory was closed in 2007 when they remodel it to be ready for the X6. Next one, Tolouse for Airbus factory.

Cool post! Thanks for sharing!
I'd love to tour a BMW factory some day.

Yes, that is one fun tour. It really really made me sad that I bought my 08 used, as I just thought it would have been sooo damn cool to have gotten Euro delivery (I went to Oktoberfest, haha, as to why I was there)...but then I remembered my sweet deal and large savings.
Nice write up though, good pics, brings back memories! |
