Help please
OK, I'm done googling and searching trying to find this...so PLEASE someone tell me where to find the paint code under the hood? I bought this car used from a girl and she didn't tell me sh$% about it. I didn't even know there were two shades of black until I got on here...
I'm pretty sure mine is Sapphire but I want to be sure before I start ordering stuff, lol... |

Could be on the drivers side shock tower, should just be a 3 digit code with German written around it. and it might also be on the inside of the drivers door

I looked both places and didn't see the 475 or the 668. I have to go back and look exactly what they are again...but anyway, I didn't see any numbers like these anywhere...I'll go outside and look again...it's damn cold outside right now, lol...

This might be crazy but the paint is pretty dull and I can't wash it right now because of the weather so it's pretty much caked....so I really want to know where to find this code to be sure before I order...

Yeah, I live out in the middle of nowhere in Germany...which is not a good reason to not go to the dealer...especially since there are a few BMW dealers (obviously, I live in BMW world) close by...they just don't speak the best English so I figured I'd try here first...
But if your program works at home right now...that's cool..if not, I'll just take my ass up do the dealer after work today.....there is a snow storm headed this way right now..yay... |

There should be a sticker with your car color on underside of your hood, that's where E9x's have it, at least my 06' E90 does
I have Black Sapphire. Not sure if it has a code, It def says Black Sapphire though |

The RealOEM search should tell you what color it is. Just pop in the last seven digits of your VIN.

I know that and I posted about that before but noone replied. It's a little bit of a pain right now to get to a dealership so I was hoping I could find out on here exactly where to find the code under the hood.

There's where mine is, right under the hood. Sticker on the right. Japanrot and 438 right under it in smaller numbers. If you don't have it maybe your hood was replaced.
